Secure Steps Support CIC

Secure, accessible homes. Steady steps forward.

Secure Steps Support CIC provides safe, well-managed accommodation for adults affected by housing insecurity with a particular focus on older residents, wheelchair users, and people living with mobility-limiting health conditions. As a Community Interest Company, we reinvest surpluses into better homes and outcomes, working in partnership with local authorities, housing providers and health partners across Sussex.

Who we support

Who we support

Secure Steps supports adults whose housing insecurity is linked to:

  • Wheelchair use or a requirement for fully accessible living environments
  • Transition from hospital, or recovery following illness or injury
  • Increased vulnerability associated with age, disability or isolation

Many residents we support are at a transition point: discharge from hospital, loss of previous accommodation, or a change in mobility or health that makes their existing housing unsuitable.
